|Listening is the most effective form of communication.|
|May the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with us!|
‘Do not be quick with your mouth, do not be hasty in your heart to utter anything before God. God is in Heaven and you are on earth, so let your words be few.’ Ecclesiastes 5:2 NIV
Hearing is passive. We cannot help but hear, unless we are deaf. Our ears catch every sound. Listening is active and selective. We choose to listen. We have the free will to listen to what and who we wish to listen to. G
reat communicators listen more than they speak. The wise man King
Solomon is advising us to think before we speak; to listen more than we
speak. God created us with two ears and one mouth; which is a subtle
indication that we should listen twice as much as we speak. Let us spend more time listening to Jesus than speaking to Him. Quiet time with Jesus
is precious and uplifting.
Have a Blessed Day! Follow Him! One Less Day to Go!
