Verse for the Day

How do we know that we know Jesus?.r
May the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with us!
‘We know that we have come to know Him, if we obey His commands.’
John 2:3 NIV
There is a big difference between knowing about someone and knowing
someone. When we know someone; we have a relationship with them. J
esus wants a personal one on one relationship with each of us. If we
really know Jesus we have no choice but to obey His commands. In John 15 vs 14, Jesus said: “You are my friends if you do what I command.” His commands are easy and clear – love one another as I love you. Love the
Lord with with all your heart and soul. When we love someone we will
do anything to hurt that person; we will not do anything to disappoint
them. We will obey, serve and glorify. We will make Jesus our most
important One.
Have a Blessed Day! Follow Him! One Less Day to Go!

PRAYER REQUESTS:
1. From our good friend and sister in Christ Diana Monnich:
Please pray for me – I started feeling really tired and had chills like I did
in July when I got sick with pneumonia and sepsis. I have a low-grade f
ever of 100.7 so I will go to the doctor first thing in the morning. I have
been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called Sjogren’s so the
medicine I am on lowers my immune system  and leaves me more open
to infection. Thanks to God He alerted me with the extreme tiredness
and chills this afternoon. Pray that I don’t get into bad shape  like I was
last July and that whatever infection I have will respond to regular
antibiotics. I don’t often asked for prayers for myself so I really
appreciate you praying for me now.
2. Let us pray for all the students who are taking final examination. May
they seek God’s guidance and wisdom and may He give them the gift of
recall in the exam room.
