Verse for the Day

Love is an action.
May the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with us!
‘If you love Me, you will obey what I command.’ John 14:15 NIV
The love of the Lord is totally different from human love. Valentine’s day is coming and I could only imagine all the stress that’s going on in people’s lives. Jesus is our true love and He does not need a physical gift to prove our love for Him. He has already proven His love for us by sacrificing His life on the cross for all our sins. All He asks is that we keep His commands. His greatest and most important command is to love Him and to love one another with all our hearts and souls.
May we keep His command every day of our lives.
Have a Blessed Day! Follow Him! One Less Day to Go!

My friend Scott is in a wheelchair as he has cerebral palsy. Nothing wrong with his brain and voice and he has use of his arms/hands. He is a recent grad of Texas A&M University and studied hard to get his teaching certificate. He works for his former high school as a paraprofessional and was asst. football coach his first 2 years. He has had great interviews for teaching positions (I saw the recorded interviews). I found out through inside sources he was not offered the jobs as they see Scott as “the wheelchair” and not Scott, the teacher. He is a very smart and great young man – I mentored him when he was in school at A&M. and know his accomplishments.  Please pray he finds a great teaching position with a school that recognizes his extraordinary abilities as a teacher with a fantastic rapport with his students. Thank you!!!
